Gretchen will be presenting

"Pennies from Heaven", was published by Martingale in 2010. Her
second book, "My Enchanted Garden", was released in February, 2014.
Both books were on Martingale’s “Best Seller” list of books on appliqué.
These books demonstrate her love of appliqué designs that combine cotton,
wool and nature. Her website is gretchengibbons.com

Creative Path”, includes a trunk show of some of her award-winning quilts.
Bethanne lives in the lovely Lehigh Valley in
Pennsylvania with her husband and two young children. She loves
quilting and has been doing so since 1997. First as a hobbyist and
later as a professional, quilting allows her to continue the creative
expression begun with formal art degrees on both a bachelor’s and master’s

and specializes in whole cloth quilts as well as open space quilting. Her website is whitearborquilting.com

Penn Oaks Quilters Challenge
Theme: Silver Screen
Create a quilt inspired by
a movie that is significant to you in some way.
It could be your favorite movie or it could be a movie you watched with
your children or it could be the first movie you saw with your spouse. There will be an award for both the best
applique quilt and for the best pieced quilt.
Be creative when piecing, for example you could use the storm at sea
block for The Poseidon Adventure or corn and beans block for Field of Dreams.
