Quilting, today, encompasses much more than traditional piecing. Penn Oaks Quilters are a group of women and men who enjoy a wide gamut of fabric art: focused on quilting, craft sewing, and wool work. Along with enjoying past, traditional, applique, embroidery, art and modern quilting in this art genre, we come together monthly to explore the creative abilities of our members and friends of quilting. We also actively engage in community service.
We embrace and welcome new as well as experienced quilters. If you would like to be included in a joyful and welcoming environment of quilters, or want to see where your interest can take you, JOIN US. (link)
It’s easy to join by contacting us at pennoaksquilts@gmail.com. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and CDC guidelines, we are not meeting face-to face, but are enjoying speakers and Show & Tell via Zoom on second Mondays of each month from 7-9 pm. Currently we are not charging guests. To obtain the Zoom link, contact us a pennoaksquilts@gmail.com. Once times allow for larger groups to meet, we will resume meeting as a group at Frazer Mennonite Church on second Mondays of each month from 7-9 pm.
